As you have popped by, you must be interested in the new dog club which I have now set up. To say I am excited is an understatement.
Being in this industry as long as I have has seen many changes along the way and of course with everyone living busy lives, committing to a class every week can be a real challenge.
Whilst I truly believe it is important to attend training classes weekly, circumstances do change and owners find themselves having to juggle life and their dogs needs.
As I mentioned already I am very excited about this new side of my business and really looking forward to welcoming new faces and more importantly new dog’s to the academy as we continue to evolve.
There are 5 tiers available so you can pick the one which is going to suit your needs and price bracket.
There are just a few terms and conditions which go along with this club which you will see at the end of the tiers on offer.
What are the benefits of the dog club.
The benefits are you can dip in and out during the year of your membership. You pay a reduced class fee 3 to 7 days before you wish to attend and because it is announced in the ‘On the scent dog Club WhatsApp’ group you can choose which week you attend. For example if one week we are looking at loose leash walking and this is a real challenge for you then you would more likely attend this particular week, if its recall then you would would attend that week, if its impulse control then you would attend this particular week and so on. One session maybe scent work or parkour etc.
By becoming a member you can choose when you would like to attend.
The member joining fee is exclusive to the members and allows for the ‘dip in dip out’ flexibility.
Club member Places are going to be limited.
Depending on the class these are held on a Saturday afternoon at 12.30pm and 1pm. However, other times may become available moving forward. There is an overlap of 15 minutes where the 2 classes mix for the puppy and adult classes.
Prices for all tiers are per dog. Multi dog discount will be available.
Let us look at the different tiers and what is included.
Tier 1. Basic.
Members joining fee: £110.00 per dog per year.
Includes:
13 x 45 minute puppy or adult class sessions.
If the age and behaviour of the dog is appropriate they may attend the Sunday 2.15pm agility class.
*The first 3 sessions of the 13 are included in the Members Joining fee to be used within the first 2 months.
The remaining 10 sessions are charged at the lower rate of £20.00 per session instead of £25.00 per session.
Tier 2. Bronze.
Members joining fee: £120.00 per year per dog.
Includes:
23 x 45 minute puppy or adult class sessions.
If the age and behaviour of the dog is appropriate they may attend the Sunday 2.15pm agility class.
The first 3 sessions of the 23 are included in the Members Joining fee to be used within the first 2 months.
The remaining 20 sessions are charged at £20 per sessions instead of £25.00 per session.
Tier 3. Silver.
Members joining fee: £150.00 per year per dog.
Includes:
23 x 45 minute puppy or adult class sessions.
If the age and behaviour of the dog is appropriate they may attend the Sunday 2.15pm agility class.
*The first 3 sessions of the 23 are included in the Members Joining fee to be used within the first 2 months.
The remaining 20 sessions are charged at £20 per sessions instead of £25.00 per session.
Plus:
1 x 45-60 minute 121 worth £60.00.
Tier 4. Gold.
Members joining fee: £230.00 per year per dog.
Includes:
23 x 45 minute puppy or adult class sessions. If the age and behaviour of the dog is appropriate they may attend the Sunday 2.15pm agility class.
*The first 3 sessions of the 23 are included in the Members Joining fee to be used within the first 2 months.
The remaining 23 sessions are charged at £20 per sessions instead of £25.00 per session.
Plus:
2 x 45 minute 121 worth £60 each.
Tier 5. Platinum.
Members joining fee: £400.00 per year per dog.
Includes:
23 x 45 minute puppy or adult class sessions.
*The first 3 sessions of the 23 are included in the Members Joining fee are to be used within the first 2 months.
The remaining 20 sessions are charged at £20 per sessions instead of £25.00 per session.
Plus also included:
5 x 45-60 minute 121 sessions worth £290.00.
20 x class sessions include puppy, adult and if age and behaviour appropriate may attend Sunday Agility at 2.15pm or Monday agility classes.
Note: All Members which ever Tier you have joined are also able to attend our training workshops where we offer a 10% discount off the advertised price. This applies to the workshops held during your membership year only.
Terms and conditions for On the Scent Members club only.
Whilst we want every one to enjoy their visit we do need a few terms and conditions. I know they are the boring part of the club.
- A 121 assessment may be required before joining the club. £20 for 30 minutes. Payable by bacs at the time of booking the appointment.
- Membership joining fee is payable in full by bacs before any client can start attending the classes.
- No refunds are given once you join the club.
- 3 to 7 days notice is required to attend the following week so we have an idea of numbers attending.
- All sessions are to be used within the year of your membership as any remaining sessions are not able to be carried over to the following year. Any unused sessions are lost and no refunds are given.
- All dogs must be vaccinated or titre tested to attend our training academy and proof is required.
- If you have paid for your session and then you are unable to attend then please note this cannot be carried over to another session. The session will be charged.
- If your bitch comes into season when you have planned to attend a session then you are asked to attend without your dog so you are able to go home and practice.
- Please avoid feeding other clients dogs and be sure to give space between your dog and other peoples dogs.
- ALL clients are responsible for their own dogs.
- Please clear up after your dog and take the poop home.
- Bring water and high and low value treats to the sessions and secure safe equipment along with anything else you may be asked to bring.
- Prices are per dog.
- Members may bring one guest without a dog. The spectator fee is £10.00 per person.
- Please wear closed shoes for safety as we train outside in a field.
- No dogs to be left in vehicles unattended.
- In the event a dog gets locked in a vehicle we will ask you to smash the window of your vehicle if the dog is distressed. In the event a client refuses then we reserve the right to record the incident in the interest of the dogs welfare.
At the moment the club area is not open to aggressive dogs. However, we do hold regular neutrality sessions. Please ask for further details.
